Pronunciation
A jump step, on one leg. A battement in the air, landing in coupé. Can be done in different directions and also with a small or large battement. The large battement finishing by the knee instead of by the ankle. Also can be done with a beat (battu). A versatile step. Effacé front is probably the most popular. Can be done with either leg. Ballonné effacé front with jeté pas de bourreé.
