Gargouillade 1

A jump step. This step is, without a doubt, one of the hardest in ballet. It resembles a pas de chat with a double rond de jambe en lair with both legs. You have to be quick. It starts and finishes in fifth. For gargouillade en dehor (outside), start right foot front. Do a double rond de jambe en dehor with the right foot and spring onto that foot while doing a double rond de jambe en dedans with the left leg landing left foot front. Usually done right or left. A beautiful step. Needless to say, you have to be fast to get the double rond de jambe in. Keep practicing on it. It will help your coordination and timing. A beautiful step when done right.
