A connecting step. A step from the national dances of the Basques. It starts in fifth, right foot front, alternating legs move to the side, forward, to fifth. Can be done front {avant} and back {en arriére}, either with a sauté {jump} or glissé {glide}. Can also be done with a Rond de jambe. This is a versatile step and can be done many ways.
