Pronunciation
A jump step. A raising movement. An upward spring from one foot or two feet, landing on one foot, the raised foot can be in any position, coupé arabesque, attitude or other. The foot must be 100% pointed on the hop when the jump is taken off both feet. To finish on one foot it may be called sissonne simple. A much used step. Can also be called sauté. Can be a good preparation for a big jump. Temps Levé shown from two feet to one foot and one foot to one foot.
