Hand position

Hand positions vary from teacher to teacher. Hand should compliment the arm. They should not droop. Middle two fingers should be together, first and little fingers should be open slightly behind the middle fingers. Thumb should be relaxed and even with first finger. The hand takes a lot of work to look natural and not tensed. The best place to work on them is at the barre when they are in second position. Hand position.
