Pas de cheval 1

A barre step. Resembles the movement of a horse pawing the ground. There are different versions. Starts in a closed position or open. Brush in toward the supporting foot extend it back to fifth or the open position. It's mostly done front, side or back at the barre. A usable step. Helps you feel the floor. Sometimes done with a hop on the supporting leg as you brush the pas de cheval. Pas de cheval simple.
